Submit Your Video Podcast to Apple Podcasts

Ready to get your video podcast on Apple Podcasts? We'll show you how! 

Start by upgrading to a video plan by going to Settings > Subscription > Plan in your Buzzsprout account. Video plans will start at $30/month, and you can check out all the options on our Plans and Pricing page. 

Now, head to the Directories page and select Apple Podcasts. We'll walk you through each step.

Step #1: Get Listed on Apple Podcasts

First, you'll need to get your podcast listed in Apple Podcasts. Just click "Get Listed" under Apple Podcasts on the Directories page in Buzzsprout. Apple then creates your public listing, and we will link it in your account. You should be all set within 48 hours of submitting!

Step #2: Claim your Apple Podcasts Listing

In order to access your podcast in Apple Podcasts Connect, you'll need to claim your listing through Apple Podcasts Connect.
  1. In Podcast Connect, click "Claim Your Existing Show."
  2. Paste your Apple Podcasts URL and find your podcast.
  3. Apple will give you a Claim Token that you will then add back to Buzzsprout under Directories > Apple Podcasts.

Step #3: Enable Video in Apple Podcasts

The final step is to authorize Buzzsprout to publish your video episodes in Apple Podcasts.
  1. In Podcast Connect, navigate to your claimed podcast listing.
  2. Go to Account > Keys.
  3. Click the "+" icon to generate a new API key. Name it "Buzzsprout" and download it to your computer.
  4. Back in Buzzsprout, attach your Apple API Key File under Step 3 of Directories > Apple Podcasts.
Once everything is connected, Apple will review your show and publish your video episodes on Apple Podcasts!
