Playback Giveaway
We built Podcast Playback to help you celebrate your progress, and we’d love to celebrate with you too.
From January 7 through Wednesday, January 14, we’re doing a giveaway (this is not a contest or a lottery). Each day, the Buzzsprout team will pick 5 podcasters to receive $100 in Buzzsprout Ads.
How to enter
Share something from your Podcast Playback on social. It can be anything, as long as it clearly includes Playback info, like:
- A screenshot of your stats
- A video or Short
- A quick post talking about what you’re proud of
- A longer write-up about your year
To make sure we see it, tag @Buzzsprout or use #BuzzsproutPlayback. Tagging @Buzzsprout is best so we see it even if your account is set to private.
How winners are picked
Winners are selected by the Buzzsprout team. We’re looking for posts that feel fun, thoughtful, or creative. It’s not based on likes, and it’s definitely not about spamming. Share in a way that feels genuine and celebratory.
Where we’re looking
We’ll be looking across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and YouTube.
How you’ll get your $100 in Buzzsprout Ads
We’ll contact winners directly with next steps. In general, you’ll run Buzzsprout Ads as usual, and we’ll refund $100 to your account.
How are Playback stats calculated?
Almost all of these stats are calculated based on the number of downloads from the first 7 days for any episode published during 2025.
However, there are two exceptions, Top Episodes and Total Downloads. For these sections, we are calculating based on episodes published during any year. For example, your top-performing episode this year may be one you published in 2021, and your total downloads this year will probably include downloads tracked to episodes uploaded before 2025.
Let's break down each section:
- Podcast History - This section highlights how long you've been podcasting and the content you've created in 2025.
- Episodes Published - Here you'll see a breakdown of your published episodes and your 2025 publishing frequency.
- Podcast Locations - You'll see your top countries and cities based on your 2025 downloads.
- Podcast Downloads - We'll show your top-performing episodes and total downloads for 2025! You may see some top-performing episodes this year that were published before 2025, talk about staying power!
Note: If you deleted any episodes in 2025, those episodes and their stats will not be included in your Backtrack data.
