How do I submit my video podcast to YouTube?

If you're on a video plan with us, you can also authorize YouTube to publish your video episodes!

Before you submit...
  • Prepare Your Podcast with YouTube’s Requirements - First, you'll need to set up your podcast with YouTube's requirements so it's ready for submission.
  • Upload a Video Episode to Buzzsprout - To authorize your podcast for video, the directories need to see one of your video episodes. So, upload and publish a video episode through the Home page in Buzzsprout.

Authorize Video for YouTube

Head to the Directories page in your account and click on YouTube, navigate to the Video tab, and press Connect to YouTube. CleanShot 2026-08-14 at 10.42.51.gif You'll now have to sign in with your Google account and allow Buzzsprout access to use it to publish your video episodes to YouTube. CleanShot 2026-08-06 at 12.25.24@2x.png Adjust any settings that you'd like. You'll be able to decide if you'd like the videos to publish on an existing YouTube playlist or a new one. By default, YouTube will publish your episodes as Private, but you can change the setting so they’re published as Public. instead.
