You can move your show's hosting from Spreaker to Buzzsprout while keeping your existing episodes, listings, and listeners! We'll walk you through the process here!
Prepare Your New Buzzsprout RSS Feed
Redirect your Spreaker RSS Feed
Once you've set up your Buzzsprout account, you'll need to redirect your Spreaker RSS feed. This allows you to keep your existing listings and followers. Here's how:
- Sign in to your Spreaker account.
- Go to Podcasts > RSS Settings
- Scroll down to Manage RSS, and click Redirected. This will bring up a New Feed URL field, where you can add your Buzzsprout RSS feed!
- Grab your new Buzzsprout RSS feed from your Buzzsprout account. You can find it under Directories > RSS Feed.
- Paste the Buzzsprout RSS feed into Spreaker's New Feed URL field.
Now your redirect is in place! 🎉
We recommend keeping your Spreaker account active for two weeks to ensure the redirect has time to solidify. You'll post all new episodes and updates in Buzzsprout, and they will show on your listings!
Statistics from Spreaker
You'll notice that the analytics from your Spreaker account don't transfer over automatically to Buzzsprout. Because of this, we recommend saving your stats from your Statistics page on Spreaker.
- Log in to your Spreaker account
- Head to the Statistics tab, where you'll be able to see your download numbers!
- In order to export the report as a CSV, you'll need to be on Spreaker's PRO plan.
Pro Tip: If you are on Spreaker's free plan, you can screenshot the data from Spreaker and save it for your own records!
Then you can manually add your downloads to Buzzsprout by following the process here:
