How do I move from Podbean to Buzzsprout?

You can move your show's hosting from Podbean to Buzzsprout while keeping your existing episodes, listings, and listeners! We'll walk you through the process here. 

Prepare Your New Buzzsprout RSS Feed

Start by signing up and setting up your Buzzsprout account. This will generate your new RSS feed, which you'll use to update podcast directories. We’ve laid out the full process in our guide about moving your podcast to Buzzsprout, but reach out to us at support@buzzsprout.com if you have any questions along the way!   

Redirect your Podbean RSS Feed

Once you've set up your Buzzsprout account and copied over your existing episodes, the last step will be to redirect your Podbean RSS feed. This allows you to keep your existing listings and followers. Here's how:

  1. In Podbean, go to Settings > Feed on the right-hand side of the page and click Advanced Feed Settings. CleanShot 2025-06-02 at 10.42.34@2x.png
  2. When you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you'll see a Redirect to a New Feed field. CleanShot 2025-06-02 at 10.46.49@2x.png
  3. Grab your new Buzzsprout RSS feed from your Buzzsprout account. You can find it under Directories > RSS Feed. CleanShot 2025-06-02 at 10.49.28@2x.png
  4. Paste that Buzzsprout RSS Feed back into the Podbean field, where you'll press Update Options and Confirm. 
Now your redirect is in place! 🎉

We recommend keeping your Podbean account active for two weeks to make sure all your listings and subscribers are redirected. You'll post all new episodes and updates in Buzzsprout, and they will show on your listings! 

Analytics from Podbean

You'll notice that your existing analytics from your Podbean account don't transfer over to Buzzsprout automatically. Because of this, we recommend saving your stats from your Statistics page on Podbean. Here's how: 
  1. Log in to your Podbean account
  2. Head to the Statistics tab and find the chart you'd like to download.
