You can move your show's hosting from Libsyn to Buzzsprout while keeping your existing episodes, listings, and listeners! We'll walk you through the process here.
Prepare Your New Buzzsprout RSS Feed
Redirect your Libsyn RSS Feed
Once you've set up your Buzzsprout account, including copying over your existing episodes, the last step will be to redirect your Libsyn RSS feed. This allows you to keep your existing listings and followers. Here's how:
- In Libsyn, click the Settings icon in the top right of the page and select Advanced Tools.
- Then, press Edit next to Feed & Website Redirects.
- Grab your new Buzzsprout RSS feed from your Buzzsprout account. You can find it under Directories > RSS Feed.
- Paste that Buzzsprout RSS Feed back into Libsyn's Feed Redirect URL field, and press Save.
Now your redirect is in place! 🎉
We recommend keeping your Libsyn account active for two weeks to make sure all your listings and subscribers are redirected. You'll post all new episodes and updates in Buzzsprout, and they will show on your listings!
Analytics from Libsyn
You'll notice that your existing analytics from your Libsyn account don't transfer over to Buzzsprout automatically. Because of this, we recommend saving your stats from your Stats page on Libsyn. Note: Libsyn's $5 plan won't allow you to see or save analytics.
