You can move your show's hosting from Transistor to Buzzsprout while keeping your existing episodes, listings, and listeners! We'll walk you through the process here!
Prepare Your New Buzzsprout RSS Feed
Redirect Your Transistor RSS Feed
Once you've set up your Buzzsprout account, you'll need to redirect your Transistor RSS feed. This allows you to keep your existing listings and followers. Here's how:
- In Transistor, head to the Settings page in the bottom left of the navigation menu, and then the RSS Feed tab.
- In Buzzsprout, copy your new Buzzsprout RSS feed (found under Directories > RSS Feed in your Buzzsprout account).
- Back in Transistor, paste your Buzzsprout URL in the Permanent Redirect (301) of your RSS feed to another URL section.
- Press Save Changes and confirm the change.
Now your redirect is in place! 🎉
We recommend keeping your Transistor account active for two weeks to ensure all directories have time to see the redirect. Now, you can post new episodes and updates in Buzzsprout, and they will show on your listings!
Analytics From Transistor
You'll notice that the analytics from your Transistor account don't transfer over automatically to Buzzsprout. Because of this, we recommend saving your stats from your
Analytics page on Transistor.

Then, we have a feature where you can manually add your downloads to Buzzsprout! Check out more about that here:
Import Stats When Moving to Buzzsprout.
