What is Bandwidth?

Bandwidth is the amount of data transferred from Buzzsprout to your listeners when they download or stream your episodes. Every Buzzsprout plan includes 1 TB of bandwidth per month. Here we'll explain how to track bandwidth usage and what happens if you exceed 1TB.

Tracking Your Bandwidth

You can track bandwidth usage in your Buzzsprout account. From the Home page, find the hours link next to the Upload a New Episode button. Click that link, and you'll see your current allowance and bandwidth usage for your cycle.

How Is Bandwidth Billed?

Your plan includes 1 TB of bandwidth, which is plenty for most podcasters! But if you go over your bandwidth for the month, you might see additional bandwidth charges. These will be added to your monthly invoices; you won't need to purchase it ahead of time.

Your first 10 TBs (over your included 1 TB) of bandwidth are $15/TB.
Once you pass 11 TBs of bandwidth, the price drops to $10/TB.
